Treatment
On the evening before the treatment, the area to be treated must be thoroughly shaved. Afterwards, it’s best to care for the shaved areas with high-quality AloeVera Gel, nothing else. Please refrain from using cosmetic care products, as these often contain substances that can react sensitively to light. It’s also important that you avoid the sun for 14 days before the treatment or apply a high sun protection factor. It doesn’t hurt to drink plenty of water and, above all, to arrive relaxed for the treatment.
At Hairless Skin, only trained skin experts with 100% specialization and many years of experience in permanent hair removal perform treatments. During the consultation appointment, you usually get to know the team personally.
NO! Treatment with the Candela Sirius System is one of the gentlest and most effective methods available. Usually, only a slight tingling or warmth is noticeable. It should be mentioned that there is no effective treatment for permanent hair removal where you feel nothing! But a treatment should never be painful!
During the treatment, we use the body’s own pigment melanin in the hair to guide the light into the hair root. The light is converted into heat and permanently destroys the hair root. If this process is carried out successfully, the root can no longer produce new hair for a lifetime. The effectiveness of the Candela Sirius method has been confirmed by numerous medical-aesthetic studies over the past 20 years.
After the treatment, the hair grows out within 10-14 days, only then does the feeling of beautiful, smooth skin set in for about 3-6 weeks, depending on the area. If unwanted hair regrows, it can be removed with a razor at any time. Attention: Plucking and pulling out the hair (epilation, waxing, sugaring) is forbidden, because otherwise there is no connection through the hair to the root for the follow-up treatment.
First and foremost, you must ensure that no sunlight reaches the area to be treated. You should also avoid using new care products and creams up to 5 days before the treatment. Additionally, it is important that you inform us about any medications you are taking or the use of antibiotics, cortisone, or St. John’s Wort. It’s best to avoid any medications or cosmetic products on the day of treatment.
Hair Removal Procedure
Before starting the treatment, we always clarify with you whether there are any contraindications, such as sun exposure or medication effects. This is important to ensure a 100% safe treatment. Then we check the area to be treated and optimize the treatment settings in the Candela System for your current skin type. After that, we apply the special gel to the area to be treated and treat gently and effectively with pure light.
Costs
The costs for a treatment depend on the skin hair type and of course your physique. The size of the areas can vary greatly, so it is impossible to calculate a fixed price for the treatment. Ultimately, effective treatments for permanent hair removal require time – time that we take for each customer. As an example, we would like to provide two price examples:
Armpits: from approx. 90 euros per treatment
Ladies’ facial hair: from approx. 50 euros per treatment
SWT-Method
The SWT method used by Hairless Skin is the only IPL system in the world that functions completely without additional skin cooling. This is made possible by the unique light filter, which is only used in the Candela Sirius. As a result, extremely safe and particularly gentle treatments are possible. In addition, the system has two applicators of different sizes, through which the light is applied to the skin surface. Due to the fact that cooling is not required, treatment can usually be carried out entirely with the particularly large applicator, whose angle of radiation penetrates deeper into the skin and can thus permanently remove more hair.
Furthermore, the Candela Sirius is a medical-aesthetic product that may only be used for treatment by experts.
